Intel Driver & Support Assistant prompted me 2 weeks ago to update this driver to v.22. What followed was a disaster resulting in 6 days without BT (Bluetooth) functionalty since the BT adapter became invisible to W10. Somehow I managed to revert to v.20 and full BT funcionality. And the Intel Driver & Support Assistant stopped prompting me to update the BT driver.
Now it's prompting me again, but this time it's suggesting an update to v.20 ????? Exactly as the version and its date that I have in my W10 on my Intel NUC !!!! (as per the Driver List generated by the CMD pnputil -e > C:\Users\USER\Desktop\driver_list.txt)
Here's the Intel Driver & Support Assistant suggested update for Intel® Wireless Bluetooth:
- Driver DetailsUpdate available
- ProviderIntel Corporation
- Version20.100.7.1
- Date7/10/2020
And here's the BT driver from the Driver List:
Driver package provider : Intel Corporation
Class : Bluetooth
Driver date and version : 07/10/2020 20.100.7.1
QUESTION:
Should I go ahead and action the suggested update?????
Thanks
Dan

If BT is working now, just hide the update and leave well enough alone.
Just my opinion.
