I am using the intel nuc LAPQC71D laptop. I seem to have a problem with the Intel NUC control centre from the time I shifted to windows 11. I am currently using the latest version of the command centre. The control centre doesn't open from the taskbar tray icons. It is running in the background. Also since the time I installed it there seems to be a heating issue and my computer battery drains rapidly. I don't know if the software is causing this problem. The only way I can open the software is if I restart and it is the first application to open.

If you suspect that the Intel Graphics and Command Center (IGCC), causes problem in your laptop (BTW, this is a forum for Intel NUC computers, rather than laptops), open Windows settings, Apps> Apps & features and click on the three vertical dots in the Intel Graphics and Command Center line and then click on Uninstall. Once the program is uninstalled, reboot your laptop.
Now, you can reinstall the Intel Graphics and Command Center from Microsoft Store.

As I have mentioned earlier the issue is with the Intel NUC command centre, a software specific for the NUC laptop kits.

You need to explain yourself better, there is no such as "Intel NUC command centre" app...
The one I know that includes "command center" in its name is the Intel Graphics Command Center, which is to manage graphics settings on systems with Intel CPUs/GPUs...
I understand you may indeed talking about a tool that is specific to NUC laptop kits, but you should provide clearer information, at least the specific app's name...
However, the key here is that you said "I seem to have a problem (...) from the time I shifted to Windows 11"... If you just upgraded using the upgrade option in Windows 10, it is known that this upgrade method may cause issues or require to reinstall some apps after the upgrade... I would try to reinstall the app.
I actually prefer to install Win11 from scratch instead of using that upgrade from Win10...

@Vollhard Can you do me a favor? Can you open Windows Control Panel, and click on add/remove programs.
1. Uninstall Control Center.
2. Reboot.
3. Install Control Center 2.2.0.22

4. Any difference observed?
