Hello,
I'm having some issues with the internal USB3 motherboard header on the NUC7i7DNBE model.
I am connecting a USB3 vision camera (Ximea) to the board via the internal motherboard header USB3. The device keeps resetting and transfers data much slower than when using one of the external USB3 ports.
The external USB3 ports don't have any of the issues and work fine.
I'm using the recommended Gorite USB3 NUC header cable to Female A port from here: https://www.gorite.com/dawson-canyon-usb-3-0-female-to-10-pin-header-cable
I was wondering if this is a known issue, or if Intel have some guidelines for use of the internal USB3 port?
Thanks
Russell

Hi Alberto,
I'm in the process of having a custom cable produced for the internal USB3 port as I'm not sure if the GORITE one is a proper shielded USB3 cable. I was hoping to post an update when I get it.
Regarding my current setup, the Ximea camera is: MC089MG.
I'm running Ubuntu 16.04.
I believe I am using the correct ram, my modules are: CT12174652 Ballistix Sport LT 8GB Kit (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 SODIMM.
I need to double check the bios but I upgraded to the most recent one at the beginning of January, so I think it would be the 0060 version.
Thanks
Russell
