What I received from Intel support:
"The interactive technical support for the Intel® NUC Kit NUC5i3RYK, you have requested has been discontinued.
Intel Customer Service no longer responds to telephone, chat, or e-mail inquiries for Intel® NUC Kit NUC5i3RYK, but you may want to try our Intel Community forums to get recommendations from fellow community members. You may also find the Discontinued Products website helpful to address your request. "

If your warranty is still active, ICS is obligated to talk to you and to replace your NUC if it has failed. This has nothing to do with whether or not the product has been discontinued (though the two often go hand in hand).
Check here: Determine if Your Product Is Still Under Warranty. If your warranty is still active, call ICS directly. Here are pages where you can lookup contact information, including local phone numbers, by geography:
- U.S. and Canada: Intel Customer Support NA
- Europe, Middle East and Africa: Intel Customer Support EMEA
- Asia-Pacific: Intel Customer Support APAC
- Latin America: Intel Customer Support LAR

Just received the following from Intel Customer Support; what does this mean?
"Dear Customer,
Thank you for contacting Intel Customer Support. Your support request was related to a product for which Intel has ended support, or you were re-directed to your place of purchase. Although our ability to provide support was limited, please take a few minutes to provide feedback so we can continue to improve your service experience."
Thank You

That was the first thing I did. Both units are still under warranty.
Thank You.

I am going in through the backdoor to find out what is going on here. This is wrong. While ICS may not be able to help you with a problem, they should not be turning you away like this. I will let you know...
