Yes, you should be able to run VirtualBox on top of Windows 10 on most NUCs.
You know, if you use Windows 10 Pro as your host, Microsoft provides a free add-on hypervisor, called Hyper-V, that you an use. Hyper-V was the replacement for Windows Virtual PC.

Thanks. I thought hyper-v was just something I had to disable to use virtualbox. I will try it. I wanted to use vagrant with it and a quick search showed vagrant supports it.
