Is NUC11PAHi7 thunderbolt 3 or 4?

Is my NUC11PAHi7 thunderbolt 3 or 4?

The ARK site says they are Thunderbolt 3 in both ports.  All the paperwork clearly states both ports as Thunderbolt 4.  The hardware configuration in windows just says Thunderbolt.

I called Intel support and they said they are Thunderbolt 3 if the ARK site says 3...

My Prosonus Quantum 2626 Thunderbolt Analog to digital interface needs Thunderbolt 3 BUT NOT 4.  4 will fail with problems.

Can I validate which version i have?

"All the paperwork clearly states both ports as Thunderbolt 4"  The Technical Product Specification, page 16 says Thunderbolt 3 on both ports.

I prefer to double-check before I say anything in this regard, let me chat with the Product Team and I will get back to the community as soon as possible.

Hi everyone,

I just got confirmation that the NUC11PAHi7 uses Thunderbolt* 3.

The information provided by ARK https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/205073/intel-nuc-11-performance-kit-nuc11pahi7.html and also available via the Technical Product Specification https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/intel-nuc/NUC11PA_TechProdSpec.pdf is correct.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

Regards,

Ronny G
