i have a NUC8i3BEH with HDMI for TV and a USB-C to HDMI for AV Receiver. I use Kodi.
Is it possible to split audio over "USB-C" and video over "HDMI"?
The Reason why, my receiver don´t have 4k HDR support but the NUC and my TV does. With this constellation i want to send only audio over the usb-c to hdmi (for HD Audio linke DD+, DTS-HD, etc.) and only the video over hdmi directly to my tv (4K@60hz).
When you have two A-V output paths, you must choose which of these is used for audio. You should be able to specify in the mixer that the default output is the one connected to your Receiver.
There's a 'but' here. Normally, the receiver is not the target for the A-V output stream; it is some downstream display. If the receiver cannot be made the target, it may not connect at all.
Hope this helps,
