Issues with Intel NUC7i5BNH and Samsung monitor LS24F350FHU

Hi, I'm experiencing some issues with my new Nuc with the monitor in subject. Sometimes the monitor become black and switching input between vga and hdmi doesn't affect. I need to unplug the hdmi cable from the Nuc or the monitor and reattach it.

Secondly, I need to know which vesa support I need to buy for placing the Nuc behind the monitor.

Thanks

Hello @senhal ,

  1. Disable sleep in Windows settings.
  2. Make sure that you have Bios and all drivers updated. Bios and drivers you may download here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/95067/Intel-NUC-Kit-NUC7i5BNH
  3. You suppose to get VESA bracket and screws, packed in the box with your NUC. Any way, you can order VESA Mount Kit from Intel https://click.intel.com/vesa-mount-bracket-kit-2601.html

Hello LWAKSMAN, thanks for your reply. The VESA bracket included with the Nuc fits on a Samsung 22 inches (I tried with my friend's one), but not on my model.

Hi @senhal

I saw the dimensions requiremens for vesa bracket for your monitor. The outside dimension should not exceed 94 mm. The Intel vesa bracket has more than 100 mm. So, it is interfering with a stand hinge part of your monitor. You may try to cut the interfering part from the adapter you get with NUC? Or, you may ask Samsung if they have bracket suitable for this monitor.
