Hello,
in the boot options of our new NUC11TNHi3 there is only a checkbox for UEFI boot which is greyed out. Does this mean that legacy boot is not available anymore? If it's still possible, how can I enable legacy boot?
We would like to stay on legacy boot because our setup job is written for legacy boot and changing it could lead to some confusion when replacing SSDs of older NUCs.
Thanks,
Thomas

I am sorry to have to tell you, but there's no support in any of the NUC11 products for Legacy Boot.

I just got a response from the development team - there are no plans to support Legacy Boot in *any* future designs.
Ok, all that said, now my opinion (I can't help myself sometimes): *Every* Linux distribution supports UEFI Boot and most support Secure Boot. as well. In this day and age, conversion to UEFI Boot is simply a *must*. Legacy Boot leaves a gaping hole in your system security. Not a good practice.
