The .86F extension indicates that your NUC is running a custom BIOS produced for some specific OEM or Integrator. Such a NUC simply cannot run any standard (.86A) BIOS release. You must get your BIOS updates through the OEM or Integrator that you purchased the NUC from.

Sorry, reality bites,

thanks for your answer

the fact is

i bought the NUC used from a person on ebay in June 2016

its not the first post of me

I do not know if any subsequent updates were released for this BIOS. You need to contact the original system supplier for this information.

so please share the original system supplier
the OEM fields in Bios and Vendor etc are all empty

i will file a lawsuite against intel if they dont share a bios for my nuc

Posts are missing? That means that they were removed because they didn't meet the conduct standards. You used bad language or made threats or something similar. Read and understand the code of conduct, which you can find here: https://community.intel.com/t5/Getting-Started/Community-Guidelines/m-p/1186857#M5.

File a lawsuit? Fire away. You haven't a leg to stand on, but feel free to throw away more money if you like. Let's look at the situation: You purchased a used device. If it had been Intel who sold this device to the original owner, than its warranty became null and void once that device was placed in your hands (as a secondary owner). In fact, however, this was a turnkey system sold to its original owner by a secondary OEM/Integrator. In this case, there is no warranty of any kind from Intel; it is this OEM/Integrator that provided the warranty for this unit, not Intel.

You need to be talking to this OEM/Integrator regarding any BIOS updates. Unfortunately, I do not know who that is. Maybe Intel Customer Support can tell you.

Dear Mr Scott Pearson Sir

offensive langauge is a word coming from your mind, most likely you were using it often in your life

I just repeat what you were saying

I moreover assume that Intel was removing the thread because this is a topic they do not want to share to public that there are certain bioses they do not want to help the people because they have a goal for money instead of a goal for help

I am very sure Intel can help me if they want, it is just about if you have the right contacts, like everywhere in this world

and please avoid accusing people for offensive language if they did not use it, because you share the part of you that is dealing with the bad side of the world

Namaste

Let's be clear: I didn't accuse you of anything. I merely pointed out the typical reasons for a post being removed. What I neglected to mention is that there are automatic filters that are applied and it is possible that they were responsible for the removal of your post. If this is the case, it may be sitting in the queue waiting for review by the operators. If there's nothing found that is against the code of conduct (including language, threats, SPAM or link-baiting), the operators will release it and it will appear. The operators are present during normal office hours in the Pacific TZ, which means tomorrow.

Do you think they have this on review since 2018?

I guess there is something you don't know how a profit oriented company like intel is operating

and i don't say i know that I know everything, but this post definitely is removed and not being reviewed

check you email inbox, you commented on that threat too

I looked at that conversation. What do you think is missing? I would point out that this was two service providers ago and there were things that went missing during the conversion processes (though it was usually whole conversations, not individual posts). I myself keep no notification emails, so there isn't anything for me to look up.

You have a 2013 NUC that was already past its EOL data when you purchased it. In 2018, you were told exactly what we are telling you today. Why are you back with the same questions? This NUC is now over 7 years old. What do you hope to accomplish now that you couldn't two years ago?

...S

P.S. If you want to see the original conversation from 2018, it is there. Search using the title you used previously and you will find it.

If my NUC is running like expected why do you (especially you as a non intel person) want to force me with mad attitude to get a new nuc? it works, i just want a simple thing, a bios update

and i dont find the original converstation by clicking on my old notification link

maybe if you search for it, but thats why you are a forum guru who knows that you can search for things, i use the links that were once sent to me, i am not a forum guru, i am a newbie

and now i requested some OFFICIAL INTEL MODERATOR TO COMMENT

plese dont feel offended but i think you are not the MODERATOR

Hello asdasd,

Unfortunately, the interactive technical support for the Intel® NUC Board D53427RKE you have requested has been discontinued. Intel Customer Service no longer supports inquiries for it, but perhaps fellow community members have the knowledge to jump in and help. You may also find the Discontinued Products website helpful to address your request.

Also, based on the information you shared, here is your previous thread, https://community.intel.com/t5/Intel-NUCs/BIOS-not-existing-for-Legacy-Intel-NUC-D53427RKE-with-BIOS/td-p/598733?profile.language=zh-CN that was not deleted.

I will send you a private message to confirm some personal information.

Thank you for understanding.

Best regards,

Maria R.

Unfortunately, as you can see, I am who you have to contend with. But, since you don't seem to want to talk to me (not even regarding why you think you need a BIOS update) and I cannot point you to the original OEM/Integrator, I guess we don't have anything to talk about.

Thank you Scott, I am in contact with a Moderator now, no worries but you told me that YOU cannot provide the BIOS but my GOAL is to get the BIOS... so why shall we talk? I offer you my phone number if you agree, and we might be able to have a chat, but emailing and witing on screen is not what i appreciate, sorry
