Hello,
This Super-I/O controller is installed in NUC5PPYH.
The linux kernel driver for it is incomplete!
So I'm looking for its datasheet to complete the driver. ITE doesn't provide with datasheets at all.
Can somebody provide it? I'd be very glade to get it!
Thanks in advance,
Michael

Nobody@Home: Thank you very much for joining the Intel® NUC communities.
In order to better assist you we just wanted to confirm:
What is the Linux version you are using?
What is the Kernel version you are using?
Any further questions, please let me know.
Regards,
Alberto R

Hello Alberto,
I use "Archlinux" as the distribution (it has no versioning) and the kernel version 4.9.30, configured and compiled by myself.
BTW: It doesn't matter, which linux (Ubuntu, Redhat, a.s.o.) and which kernel (4.4.x, 4.9.x or 4.12.x) are in use: IT8607E is not supported yet. Without datasheets it's not possible to make a driver!
Kind Regards,
Michael

Michael,
Unfortunately, ITE has not made the datasheet for the IT8607E SIO public and, since Intel's copies were received under NDA, Intel cannot provide it to you. You will have to contact ITE directly if you would like to obtain a copy.

I already did it some weeks ago: ITE doesn't provide the datasheets to me and "sends" me to Intel as the manufactorer of the computer.
So the advice from N. Scott Pearson was as helpful as his interference. Not at all...
Very helpful...
Forget my question...

Hello PR-Johnson,
No, I haven't been able to find the datasheet. At some point I gave up the search.
Apparently the information it contains is one of the greatest secrets on this planet.
