HIya,
the microphon array is not available to the system. Why?
In the device manager I see a cryptic meessage: "...device not migrated..:" from Oct 2020
The whole NUC drivers are up-to-date per Intel Driver&Support Asiistant.
What do I miss or need to do to activate the array?
Thanks in advance, MArtin

Hello MKemp4,
Thank you for posting on the Intel* Community.
To better assist you, please provide us with the below information:
Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU)
- Download the Intel SSU https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows-
- Open the application and select "Everything" click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View".
- Click on the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
- To save your scan, click on "Next", then "Save".
- Also, please attach a screenshot so we will be able to verify the error message on the device manager.
- Just to confirm, is an external microphone you are using? How it is connected?
Best regards,
Maria R.

Hi Maria,
1) it is NOT an external microphon, it is the Intel NUC internal microfon-array which I cannot use
2) all requested infos are attached.

Hi @MKemp4
Looking at the SSU report, I can see that there is some problem with the Intel Graphics DCH Driver. I can see two version in the report: 26.20.100.7529 and 27.20.100.8681. This may indicate incorrect driver installation. Graphics Driver affect the NUC audio. So, I suggest clean reinstallation of this driver:
1. Download the Intel Graphics DCH Driver 27.20.100.8681
2. Disconnect the Internet.
3. Open the Device Manager, Display Adapters and uninstall the Intel Graphics Adapter. Check the "Delete the Driver software..." option.
4. Reboot your NUC and check that in the Device Manager, you see Microsoft Basic Graphics Adapter. If not, repeat para. 2-3.
5. Install the previously downloaded driver, reconnect the internet and reboot NUC.

1. Please verify that the Microphone Array connector is firmly connected to the motherboard. In addition in BIOS settings Onboard Devices the Digital Microphone field should be checked.
2. The Microphone Array should be set in Windows settings System > Sound as an input device. In Sound settings, Microphone Array should be enabled. Please see the attached image.
