Hello,
I have a HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15m-es0000 (268U4AV). There was an update to the Microphone Intel® Smart Sound Technology drivers or configuration on August 2nd that has now affected the microphone pickup for Zoom, making it useless.
I have re-loaded drivers for Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio (which includes the Intel SST drivers). I still cannot regain functionality. I am unable to try a system restore option. I have the logs indicating that the issue coincides with the Intel SST reconfigurations on that date/time.
Please advise if there is a solution specifically addressing the Intel SST microphone drivers.
The logs are pasted below and an Intel Diagnostics log attached
Thank you.

Hello Jake1414,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
I would like to let you know that the drivers and support for the Intel® Smart Sound Technology (Intel® SST) are delivered by the laptop manufacturer (HP in this case) since they customized the drivers to work on their systems. The drivers that we have are only for our NUC products and they will not work on your device.
However, you may need to try the following:
1. Update your operating system, including optional updates.
2. Check on HP's website for drivers and BIOS updates:
3. Try to perform a clean installation of the Intel® Smart Sound Technology (Intel® SST) driver.
If the steps above did not work, I recommend you to check with HP directly for further instructions.
Best regards,
Deivid A.
