Hello I just buy an NUC6CAYH but i can't install Windows 10 because my sources don't have an driver to find the disk, I use 2 different disk, same result.
Have you an idea ?
I can't find this driver on Intel website.
Thanks in advance for your answer.
P.S : Sorry for my bad english I'm French.
No, support for SATA is provided in the base Windows 10 installation package. Installing the Chipset Software package could possibly improve performance but I don't think that it will overcome whatever is going on here. Again I ask: Can you see these drives from within the BIOS? That is, do they show up in the list of devices? If not, I would be checking whether the two cables from the drive bay are properly inserted into the connectors on the NUC6CAYB board.
I cannot comment on Windows Server 2016, but Windows 10 installs just fine.
I would suggest that you use RUFUS to create the USB media, specifying GPT partitioning on the flash disk. During the Windows 10 install, when you get to the scene where you pick where to do the install, make sure that you delete any partitions that already exist on the HDD and then tell it to install the the unallocated free space (which now encompasses the entire drive).
Hope this helps,
