Hello,
My 8i5BEK will not put its attached monitor to sleep. Is this a known issue?
It is an LED monitor connected by HDMI. Windows is set to turn off the monitor after 15 minutes of inactivity (power options). This doesn't happen.
Running "powercfg /requests" at the cmd line shows "None" for all categories. I have set windows to not allow the wireless mouse to wake the PC. Intel driver center says BIOS and all drivers are current.
I have also run the suggestions here: https://windowsreport.com/windows-10-monitor-wont-sleep/
Is this a known issue? How can I go about fixing this?
Thanks,
Ari

Thank you,
I had tried the methods in the linked thread (reverting to display driver from November 2019) without success.
I believe I have located the problem as a third-party wireless joystick. Once I unplugged its receiver, the monitor would successfully go to sleep at the power-plan-specified interval.
I'm now back onto the latest Intel graphics drivers and monitor sleep is working as expected.
Will post back if the problem recurs.
Thanks again,
Ari
