1. Verify that you have  Intel® Chipset Device Software for Windows® 10 & Windows 11* for Intel® NUC8i7BE, NUC8i5BE, and NUC8... installed. If not yet, download, install it and reboot your NUC.

2. If the Intel ME driver doesn't install, uninstall the old version (Apps>Apps & features) and try installing this version (12.0.81.1753) again.

Bonjour et merci pour votre réponse.

J'ai installé le chipset et rebouté mais le driver ne s'installe toujours pas...

J'ai essayé de désinstaller la version précédente mais j'ai à nouveau la fenêtre intel :

 

"Le programme d'installation a été interrompu prématurément à cause de l'erreur suivante :

je suis coincé...

1. In order to get better information about your system, please download the Intel System Support Utility (SSU). Run the SSU scan (check "Everything") and save the results. The .txt file with the results please attach to your post.

2. I understand that you didn't  succeeded to uninstall the currently installed ME Driver. Do I understand correctly?

2. Can you let me know where did get the update from? Intel website? Intel tool? can you share a link if possible?

3. Have you tried a BIOS recovery?

Bonjour et merci pour votre réponse.

 

Je viens d'effectuer le BIOS recovery avec ma clé USB en faisant F7 au démarrage. L'installation s'est bien passée, j'ai redémarrer,

mais la mise à jour ne s'installe toujours pas. Et j'ai toujours le même message :

"Le programme d'installation a été interrompu prématurément à cause de l'erreur suivante :

Erreur irrécupérable lors de l'installation."

 

Je ne comprend pas...

Hi @Olive04 

  1.  In the beginning I want to inform you that you didn't performed BIOS Recovery yet. Using F7, you have performed BIOS update only.  If you want unlock the Management Engine, you need to perform BIOS Recovery by Secure Jumper.  BIOS Recovery will not affect data stored on SSD and HDD. However, the recovery in rare cases can brick (corrupt) your NUC boot and you will not be able to access your data. The same may happen during regular BIOS update. You may also loose access to your data when the storage drives fails or other hardware failure. Therefore, in order to protect your data, you should keep always updated backup of your storage drives.  FYI, I've performed BIOS Recovery many times in different NUC computers and never have problem. But I have to admit, that reading this forum I can see from time to time that users got a problem after BIOS update/recovery.
    Any way, I'll describe the procedure to BIOS Recovery by BIOS Security Jumper (this method you should use if you decide to do this). Before starting BIOS Recovery turn OFF Drive Encryption in case that your drive is encrypted with Bitlocker. 
    In addition, disable the Kasperski Antivirus you are using.
  2.  Prepare USB stick fully formatted to FAT32 . Format your USB with Quick Format option unchecked. Do not format your USB in MAC (OS) or Linux machine. Use Windows. Download the BE0089.bio file. Copy the BE0089.bio file to the root of this USB.
  3.  Disconnect the power adapter and remove the bottom panel from your NUC. 
  4.  Remove the Yellow Bios Security Jumper. (page 41 in Technical Product Specification
  5.  Insert the USB with the BE0089.bio file into rear USB slot. 
  6.  Reconnect the power adapter and power ON the NUC. Wait 30 sec - 2min. The Recovery process will start automatically and will end after 2 -5 minutes.
  7. When bios recovery is completed, press and hold the Power Button to switch the power OFF, remove the power adapter and replace the Security Jumper (pins 1-2) . Remove the USB and reinstall the bottom panel. 
  8.  Power your NUC ON. 
  9.  Enter Bios setting by pressing F2 during boot process. 
  10.  Press F9(followed by Enter), to set Bios to default settings. Press F10 (followed by Enter), to save the settings and exit to O.S. Let the NUC fully reboot.
