NUC 10 3.5mm audio jack is now working

I had posted a question earlier about the 3.5 mm jack not working due to a BIOS update. I can now confirm that the solution posted here:

... is working. The thread is now closed as I could not troubleshoot and respond in time. However, I thought I should mention that the fix worked just in case it helps.

 

For anyone trying to fix the same problem, please follow the instructions to flash the BIOS fully.

I understand that updating BIOS using BIOS Recovery method, solved this problem?
