NUC 11 (NUC11TNHi30L) chassis expansion hole dimensions

Hi,

A few of the larger / taller NUC cases have the hole at the back base to install expansion, we want to CAD design and 3D print a plate for this, does Intel have the technical details (dimensions) of the hole and screw locations?

Many Thanks

Mechanical drawings for the NUC products can be found here: Intel NUC Element Mechanical Drawings. I do not currently have setup to view STEP drawings, so can not tell you if the information you require is there. If it is not, let us know here.

Hope this helps,

Hi, thanks for the link.  Those are for the NUC Element, the above product is not part of that line... so those files do not contain the dimensions we would need.

Hello GRIFFCOMM,

Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities.

We have another website with Mechanical Drawings for Intel® NUC, which it is listed the STEP-based files with the Intel® NUC Kit Drawings. Your Intel® NUC product is part of the list. Let me know if this file helps you with your requests.

Hi

As an update, i thought i would post what we did, we have orders for the BNUC11TNHI5 which is the tall case with a blank, with the help of the STEP file as guidance we created a new blank which will then be filled with a D-Sub connector, the below is the complete prototype, still waiting for the D-Sub connectors to complete the design.
: i know the metal plate has the knocks outs in it but we like a very finished polished product when we sell them.
