I have a NUC 6cays connected to a Panasonic TH-55EX600A by a 5 port 4K is HDMI switch. The NUC screen will not display on the TV through the switch but will display if connected directly via an HDMI cable. The spec for the switch says will support hi res up to 1920*1200 incl 1080i/p and 2160p and supports HDMI 1.4 3D 4K. Is that the problem? Do I need a switch supporting 3840*2160 @ 60hz?
Is there any other solution?

Well, if you are going to continue to use 4K, a proper HDMI 2.0-compliant switch is going to help, as will HDMI 2.0-compliant cables. There are some other possibilities, however. One is that this switch is one-way and will not allow the necessary return signals. Another is that one of the cables is one-way. There are other possibilities as well. Cables are a good place to start.
Hope this helps,
