Hi Scott,
 
Thanks for your email,
 
I have done all you mentioned but still no sound.
 
One monitor is connected directly to the NUC as you mentioned.
 
I have attached a sound report if this helps work the problem out.
 
I have little understanding of all the details but can follow directions if there is another way?

Well, for starters, you do not have the latest Video/Audio device drivers installed. You have the 6186 build installed and the latest is teh 6286 build. You can download the new package from here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19046

Download the package. Extract the contents of the package to a temporary folder and then click on file IGXPIN.EXE to initiate the installation. Reboot afterwards.
