NUC download to a mini that will not wake up

My NUC8i3BEH quit working. Light in the box comes on, but monitor is black. I see this is a problem that may be able to be fixed with a firmware download, but I do not know how to do it since the monitor stays black. 

Can I plug the NUC into another computer with the HDMI cord and download the firmware update that way?

If not, please tell me how to best accomplish this.

1. Try to connect your NUC to other monitor or to your TV.

2. Use other HDMI cable.

or

3. Try the other Graphics port (USB type C). You may use Type C to HDMI adapter or cable, or if you have DP input in your monitor, USB C to DP cable. The links are for examples only.

4. "Light in the box comes on..." you mean that the Power Button LED is ON (blue)?

5. The problem occurred after trying to update BIOS?
