NUC locking up overnight when turned off - NUC11PAKi5

Turn the system off at night using Windows shutdown

In the morning the blue power button is lit but the NUC will not start/respond to pushing the button. Holding the button down does not shut down the system. It does not respond to any device configured to wake it up.

The only way to start the system is to remove the power cable

Changed all the setting so the system and screen do not sleep when powered but did not make any difference

Appreciate your advice

There are many NUCs.  Which one?

Hello leon49,

Thank you for your response.

If I may interrupt here, I want to confirm some information to have more insight into your issue.

When did the issue start?

Is there any error message when you turn your system on?

Have you experienced any Overheating issues?

You mentioned that you tried all the settings, so the system and screen do not sleep. Is there any issue when the system enters sleep mode?

Create a report using the Intel System Support Utility (Intel SSU)

• Download the Intel SSU (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18377/25293/intel-system-support-utility-for-window...)

• Open the application and click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel SSU will take you to the "Summary View."

• Click on the menu where it says: "Summary" to change it to "Detailed View."

• To save your scan: click on "Next"; then "Save."

Hello leon49,

Our apologies for the inconvenience. We are working on the solution for your issue. However, if you want, you can try running the drivers 30.0.101.1069 or 27.20.100.9466. If you would like to try these drivers, try a clean installation of the drivers.

Driver 30.0.101.1069 (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19344/685037/intel-graphics-windows-dch-drivers.htm...)

Driver 27.20.100.9466 (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19344/30381/intel-graphics-windows-dch-drivers.html)

Clean installation (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000057389/graphics.html)
