I just received my NUC10I7FNH, but the BIOS hotkeys are not working and not even displayed on the start.
I managed to use a ubuntu live USB to install Ubuntu to make it usable, but still no BIOS access, and no power menu..
Any suggestions would be great.

Hi @Negm
Disconnect the Power Adapter and remove the bottom cover. Check if the Yellow BIOS Security Jumper is not installed in Locked Position (pins 2-3), instead of Normal Position (pins 1-2). See page 33 in the Technical Product Specification
In order to access BIOS and/or Power Button Menu, this jumper should be installed between pins 1-2.

Just to be clear before this becomes a support issue, Ubuntu is not a supported OS on your NUC.
Now, for the bios function keys not being displayed on boot up, it may be that secure boot is enabled. If F2 does not work on boot, are you using a wireless keyboard?
For the power button menu not working, how many seconds are you waiting?

- I have no clue secure boot is on or off as i cant access the boot menu at all.
- i waited 3 seconds.. more than that it just turns off again.. the key led doesn't turn to anything other than Blue... i also tried to connect headphones to listed to "beeps" as was mentioned somewhere, but no beeps as well.

@Negm
Or . . . sorry, "no power menu": you've alread tried the procedure below?
My guess is, that Fast Boot is enabled. ( I have a NUC10i3FNK )
From the:
Intel® NUC Products
NUC10i3FN/NUC10i5FN/
NUC10i7FN
Technical Product Specification
section 3.7.4 Power Button Menu
As an alternative to normal POST Hotkeys, the user can use the power button to access a
menu. The Power Button Menu is accessible via the following sequence:
- System is in S4/S5 (soft off); will not work if system is in G3 (after “no power” state)
- User pushes the power button and holds it down for 3 seconds
- The front panel power button LED will change from blue to amber then the user can release
the power button. - User releases the power button before the 4-second shutdown override can occur.
If this path is taken, the BIOS will use default settings, ignoring settings in VPD where possible.
The BIOS will display the following prompt and wait for a keystroke:
[ESC] Normal Boot
[F2] Intel Visual BIOS
[F3] Disable Fast Boot †
[F4] BIOS Recovery
[F7] Update BIOS
[F10] Enter Boot Menu
[F12] Network Boot
†[F3] Disable Fast Boot is only displayed if at least one Fast Boot optimization is enabled.

Maybe you can already collect some information?
Try this as root on Ubuntu:
dmesg --human
It will show the BIOS version and whether Secure Boot is enabled (and a lot more).
e.g. (for my NUC):
[ 0.000000] DMI: Intel(R) Client Systems NUC10i3FNK/NUC10i3FNB, BIOS FNCML357.0050.2021.0303.2141 03/03/2021
