NUC11PAHi5 Ethernet adapter reset occasionally every few hours

OS: Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS, kernel version 5.8.0 

Also tested in kernel 5.11.19, Ethernet adapter reset randomly

In reference to this scenario, just to let you know, the Operating System that was tested and validated by Intel® is Windows* 10 64-bit, so all the troubleshooting steps and drivers that we have available on our website are intended for that specific OS, as you can confirm in the link below, please select "Intel® NUCs with 11th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors" tab:

Just to confirm, is Kernel updated to the latest version?

Did you install any particular driver version for Linux?

Please attach the SSU report so we can verify further details about the components in your platform, please check all the options in the report including the one that says "3rd party software logs":

Hi Alberto_R_Intel,

 

Sorry for late response, after one week test, this issue never come once I replace the cable, both cable are high quality CAT6E, but I have no idea why a cable could cause such issue. Thanks for your response on this issue.
