NUC11TNKv5 and HDMI CEC

Hi

According to Intel ARK the NUC11TNKv5 supports CEC, my Sony TV also supports it, are there any tricks to confirm CEC is working in Windows 11 on the above system?  so far i cant seem to control the PC through the TV, ive had this working before on other systems.

The NUC7PJYH has an option in the BIOS for HDMI CEC with a check box, i cant find anything like this in the NUC11TNKv5, so i assume its either not on, or something is missing as accordoing to Intel ARK it supports HDMI CEC.

Many Thanks

I don't have NUC TN but the you should be able to enable CEC in BIOS Advanced > Onboard Devices > HDMI CEC Control field.

This is very interesting, and although i cant blame the NUC itself this is what i have found:

- We have older Sony TV (has active 3D transmitting, so i think its 8 years old)

- Once HDMI is active on the NUC when in the TV menu under inputs, once the NUC is plugged in to a HDMI input, the TV finds the device as CNTL HDMI so it is seeing the NUC with CEC

- The TV also have something to "activate" as it says make sure the device is on then enable it

- I still cant get Windows (KODI) to respond to the commands, however i also cant find any tools to diagnose this in Windows

The reason for the post here is kinda completed as the TV does see a CEC device (NUC), more research has to happen i think.
