Hello,
I recently used this SATA to USB product http://www.century-china.cn/Multi-bay-HDD-enclosure/CRCH35U31CIS_CRCH35U31CIS200.html to connect to my NUC for file transfer. I found that the reading speed is normal and can reach 170MB/s, but the writing speed is lower than 10MB/s. At first I thought it was a problem with this product, so I connected it to other brands of computers for testing, including 2 A computer with a model of BOXNUC7i7BNH can read and write speeds above 150MB/s. Because I have more than 5 computers with model NUC11phki7, I connected it back to other computers of the same model. It is found that all computers of this model have such problems. I connected it to one of the 4 USB ports on the back of the machine and found a stranger problem. There is a computer, one of the USB ports is normal, and the other 3 are abnormal.
The operating system of all my test computers is windows 10 64bit professional edition 20H2, and I updated all the drivers with the Intel Driver & Support assistant.
This SATA to USB product uses the ASMT chip. I don’t know what caused it, and whether the two products have compatibility issues.
Best Regards

Hi,
Thanks for reply.
This problem was discovered the first time I connected this device.
No problems with other USB devices have been found so far. There are not many USB devices connected, but I have replaced other brands of USB readers, and the reading and writing speed is normal.
I upload the scan result.
To add, I tested it with BOXNUC8i7HVK6 today. This device also has a usb 10G type A interface, and the reading and writing speed is normal when I connect it to this device.I found that this usb chip is ASMedia. And the new model is VIA, I don’t know if it matters

After further investigation this does seem to be a compatibility issue with the Hard Drive Enclosure. Your system is up to date and seems to be working fine from the tests that you completed, the last recommendation we can provide is check if there is any SSD firmware update and continue using compatible SSD models.
If you have any questions about compatibility, here is a list of validated products that will work with the NUC:
