I'm confused. The user guide says that the slot on the rear side of the compute element CPU-attached. And the Tech Product Specification says the slot nearest the CPU is CPU NVMe. So I'm wondering which M.2 slot is the fastest theoretically?屏幕截图 2022-08-20 230502.jpg屏幕截图 2022-08-20 230528.jpg

My understanding is that the rear side (PCH Slot 2) sits on a dedicated bus while the interior slots share with other devices. Theoretically this rear slot should consistently be the fastest.

Hello tyrant312,

To answer your question, all the M.2 in the NUC provide the same speed, however, the CPU-attached NVMe is managed directly by the CPU, so it provides better performance.

Please let me know if you have any further concerns.
