NUC5 Network Performance

Greetings to the well of knowledge...

One of our users who has a NUC5i3 is complaining of slow network performance.  50 up/50 down.  Another user on the same network but running a NUC5i5 is getting 200 up/150 down.  Both are using our wired network and going through the same switch.

Is the NIC on the i5 that much better than the i3?

Thanks,

Ken

According to specifications, both NUC having the same I218-V LAN interface

1. Please check the I3 with the same Ethernet cable/connection.

2. Verify that the LAN Driver is updated on NUC5i3RYx

3. Compare the network performance of both NUCs, using WiFi adapter. If the performance on NUC5i5RYx is also better here (both NUC having the same AC 7265 adapter), means that CPU and/or Windows problem is affecting network performance.

For this particular instance, we are comparing a NUC5i3RYH and NUC5i5RYH.
