NUC5PPYH not booting

A cople days ago, a NUC5PPYH in my company stopped booting. I updated the BIOS as you can see in this picture:

then disconnected the SSD, and tried to start from an USB pendrive:

and configured the BIOS security so it can boot and load any drivers needed:

even I checked with f10 at POST to be sure the pendrive was detected by BIOS:

But still i got a black screen when trying to boot this way, or a frozen boot screen I left the system boot by itself. Any ideas how to fix it or where i can find an older BIOS version to test it?

Tried to boot what? DOS? Linux? Windows?

Was the stick properly configured for the boot method?

Something to try: Use Microsoft's Media Creation tool to format for and create a Windows installer image on the stick and then boot from it. You can get this tool here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-installation-media-for-windows-99a58364-8c02-206f-aa6f-40c3b507420d.

The stick is a Windows 10 Installer pendrive I had used in almost half of the pc's in the company (near 20), so i don't think it is the pendrive.

Go back into BIOS Setup, use F9 to reset the BIOS configuration to defaults and then F10 to save and exit. See if it will boot from this flash stick then.

Hi @Informática 

When you boot with this installation USB to the Boot Menu (after clicking on F10), you can see two lines for the Kingston USB. The first line is the UEFI boot, the second line is for the Legacy boot. Did you tried the Legacy Boot option as well? 

I don't suggest that you should install Windows 10 to boot in Legacy boot, just check if the problem is in boot type.

Hi Leon,

Yes, i've tried with legacy boot enabled, and even with an old WinXP pendrive, and an Ubuntu pendrive an neither of them gave me any different response.
