I have 2 NUC's that have stopped seeing their boot drives. There is a possibility that a student has changed a setting in the BIOS but I cannot see where this can be turned off. I have gone through all the boot settings and reset BIOS to default but nothing. If it were one machine then I would suspect a faulty SSD but 2 at the same time seems unlikely.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello ACole5,
Thank you for joining this Intel Community.
NUC5i5RYB refers to the Intel® Board the kit uses. Could you please confirm the Intel® NUC model?

Is your drive recognised in bios? You should see the SSD in Advanced>Devices>Sata and Advanced>Devices>PCI
