Does removing the power cable, leaving the box overnight and then re-powering up the next day have any effect either adverse or advantageous?
Yep, lots of things occur when the lights are out. And, it does not hurt to restart now and then, especially if you are not paying attention to any reboot warnings.
Regularly disconnecting and connecting power is not good for any electronic device and could cause issues long-term. Spinning HDDs especially don't like it. Having to fully reboot every day is a time penalty. It also means that all maintenance (and Windows 10 does a lot of it!) is done while you are present. Need I go on?
