G'day.
Using my NUC6i3SYB with a DELL U2718Q (4K) monitor, Windows 10 (64)
Screen goes black every 5-15 minutes, and typically wont come back to life unless I disconnect and reconnect the HDMI. I also noticed a redish shadow appearing sometimes (often before the screen goes black)
- Tried to configure different resolutions, to no avail.
- Tried different HDMI cable, to no avail.
- Rolledback 520 graphic driver to older version, to no avail.
- Tested the monitor with other computer, no problem.
- Noticed discussions from 2017 about similar problem (BIOS) related, but referencing other NUC6 models (in the BIOS update).
Any ideas?

There has been issues with 4K monitors on some other models of NUC too. Try using a 1080p monitor and see if the issue goes away. I do know Intel has been working on this issue, so hopefully it will be fixed eventually.

@MRoss5200 Thanks for taking the time to respond.
It worked fine with a 1080p monitor prior to moving to the 4K device, but it also worked just find with the 4K monitor for a couple of months... that's the odd thing.
Anyway, I actually switched to using a the (mini) Display Port and since then the problem seems to have gone away.
So in case anyone else find that helpful as a partial resolution, it's worth a try.
Cheers.
