I have 5 NUC's that I keep running Windows 7 becuase I refuse to learn Windows 10. I spent 20 years learning where everything is and in every new version of Windows MSFT just moves it all around again. HUH UH!
Anyway, I have 4 Gen 5's that were doing great hooked up to my 65" UHD monitor I use because I am a disabled veteran who can barely get around much less see anymore, and they all hooked up to a Syba USb3 tower with 8 - 8 and 10 TB drives . I was having no problems until I hooked the Gen 6 NUC6I5RYK up to the setup with the USB2 lid adapter so I could get Windows 7 to see the mouse and keyboard.
My problem is Windows will only read 4 of the 8 drives in the Syba 8 tower bay. I swap all the drives and 4 is the limit. Any ideas why this is happening all of a sudden. Everything is good in the drivers section. Intel Management Engine software is updated to the latest version as is all the other drivers under device manager.
HELP!!
Thanks in advance

Hello JimBob69,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
I was checking your post and the information provided and I would appreciate if you could confirm the following:
- What is the exact model of your NUC? Is this the NUC5i5RYK or the NUC6i5SYK?
It is because the NUC model provided (NUC6i5RYK) was not showing on my side.
