NUC6i5SYH Bios update for Microcode 000000e2

Hi Team can you please advise when we will be getting BIOS74 to address the following security issues with the Skylake CPUs.

• Security updates for INTEL-SA-00381.
• Security updates for INTEL-SA-00389.

I understand that we are reaching the end of the security updates for the device as per = https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000016234/intel-nuc.html 

But - the microcode in question was released 2020-07-14.

are you also going to address this security bug

I need to inform you that due to this product being discontinued, Intel Customer Service no longer supports inquiries for it, but perhaps fellow community members have the knowledge to jump in and help.  

I would strongly recommeend that you post your question in the Discontinued Products website and I hope you find it helpful to answer your concern.

However, I would like to review this matter for you.

Please run the following tool and attach the reports generated.   

Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) Download link 

1.Open the application and click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. 

2.By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View".   

3.Click on the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".   

4.To save your scan, click on "Next", then "Save".

Good afternoon Esteban thank you for your response - but you are mistaken. The device is discontinued apart from security releases until November 2020. Please confirm that this security issue is something that you are going to address (or if not - why not.)

Hello heitbaum,

Unfortunately this product is already discontinued (see Ark for further information: https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/89190/intel-nuc-kit-nuc6i5syh.html) and fixes for SA00381 and SA00389 are not part of the latest BIOS implementation, it will require microcode update 0xE2 and the latest bios version 0073 contains microcode 0xD6 and we have no plans to release newer BIOS versions for NUC6i5SYH.
