Hi at all, I'd recently bought an intel NUC and one of my targets is to power on the nuc over LAN.
The problem is that the WOL doesn'twork despite I set the right options on BIOS (ex. activate the LAN flag on Onboard Devices menu and set the WOL from S4/S5 to Power on - normal boot).
I think the problem is that the ethernet port switch off after the shutdown (no blinking led).
I've already update the bios to the latest version (JYGLKCPX - 0070).
Thanks in advance for whatever support.

Hi Leon, I followed only steps about the bios settings cos I'm using a bootable device to load a linux OS to show a webpage in a openkiosk session. Have I need to install a version of windows to make WOL available? I would prefer the LAN works properly just with the right settings by bios

In addition to having correct settings in BIOS for WOL operation, you need set the LAN Adapter from the O.S. accordingly to be able to receive the Magic Packets. This is not default settings in LAN adapter, since its increases the power consumptions. I'm not knowledgeable in Linux, but I found some information about Ethtool, which make give you some direction. This article is explaining how to enable WOL in Linux.
