NUC7PJYH Graphics error

My NUC7PJYH was working fine for a while but and it hang when it was left powered on for a night. After a reboot it complained about CMOS battery low voltage. Cleared that error message from BIOS and no complaints about that since. But then the graphics drivers stopped working resulting in hangs and laggy performance on desktop. I've reinstalled system several times, tried different versions of BIOS. Tried different operating systems WIndows 10 and Ubuntu Linux.

Display shows some corruption and driver seem to hang and reset every 10th second or so, resulting in black screen for a while and then back to corrupted desktop. Mouse cursor works good. If booting in safe mode graphics is working ok (Microsoft driver).

Tried with 1 stick of ram, 2 sticks of ram, different power adapter, latest drivers, older drivers, latest bios, older bioses, HDMI straight cable, HDMI->DVI-converter + dvi-cable, on tv, on monitor. No difference really.

Any suggestions?

Thank you very much for sharing your issue with the Intel Communities Team, ErSan. I will be more than glad to assist you.

In order for me to assist you better, please provide me with the .txt file that the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows- System Support Utility will generate. To attach a file, you must click the "Attach" option on the bottom right-hand corner of the response box.

Then, have you tried different power outlet? In addition, have you tried to clear the CMOS battery? If not, please follow these steps to achieve so: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005805/mini-pcs.html https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005805/mini-pcs.html

Yes, I just got around to installing BIOS (that was a pain with Windows 10 and NUC wanting to reboot into BIOS-updating software). Installed drivers for graphics and same error seems to happen.

Hello, ErSan. Thank you very much for your patience.

Firstly, allow me to share with you that I have finished my tests with the same model of NUC, however, the issue did not occur on my side. I left the NUC working for 2 days and it is working fine, therefore, I am afraid that you NUC is defective.

I have sent you a private message in order to discuss more information about the warranty of your product.
