NUC7i5BNH Screen Flickering

Hi,

I've recently purchased a NUC7i5BNH and am experiencing the screen flashing whilst viewing at 4k resolution and difficulty in waking when it goes into sleep mode.

I have updated all of the drivers from the Intel website. Sometimes it seems to stop after an update but then resumes the flickering after a short time. I have found that the previous graphics driver (4664 I think) seems to work better but still flashes at times. I can't use VLC but if I uncheck 'Contrast Enhancement' in Video Settings I seem to be able to watch movies in the native Windows 10 viewer with reduced flickering but it still occurs during normal Windows operation sporadically.

The setup that I have is:

NUC7i5BNH

1x 8GB Corsair Value DDR4-2133

128GB Samsung SM961 M.2 PCIe

Club 3D CAC-1310 HDMI Cable

Samsung UE55KS7500 TV

Please can you help as this NUC was purchased for the sole purpose of watching 4k at 60hz and at time the NUC is unusable. I have trawled the discussions but have come to the conclusion that this seems to be a driver issue.

it seems like driver problem. driver 4664 working properly, 4678 and 4729 flickers about every 10 seconds.

Yes, same for me, 4664 works fine, 4729 flickers. Even with the latest bios 0049

Not only with 4K. I have this flicker on my Intel Nuc7i5BNK. Now, I just blink. Yesterday, the screen went black, and did not turn on again until the computer went into sleep mode, and restarted the session. The situation improves or worsens when I uninstall / install the Intel Management Engine Consumer driver.

I've just set up a brand new 7i5BNH and updated all the drivers including the Iris 640 graphics driver and it's flickering over HDMI 2.0 at 60hz. I wasn't getting any flickering before I installed this driver. The Windows display driver was fine.

Sounds like a common issue.

I very occasionally had flickering on 1 of my 2 4k monitors before upgrading to the new graphics driver today.

Now I get 2 seconds of blackout on both monitors at least once every 5 minutes - sometimes many times per minute (video and moving windows makes it worse). I've reverted to the old driver but it's still really bad

I have a 7i5bnk. 8gb RAM.

Happens over DP and HDMI - when either is used and even on just 1 monitor still happens.

I am having this screen flickering problem on a nuc9i9qnx.  The BIOS and all the drivers are up to date according to the Intel Driver and Support Assistant. I set the primary display to IGFX and installed the latest video drivers directly from Intel.

I notice that if I use the Intel Graphics Command Center to make any changhe - such as changing the refresh rate and then changing it back - the problem goes away. But it comes back again at reboot, and is especially bad after waking from sleep.
