NUC7i5BNH Screen goes Black with LG 4K monitor

Hi,

Just got me a new NUC,

And the screen keep going black when there is movement,

What I did so far:

1. Bios update

2. Display driver Update

3. Tried to update the HDMI driver ( was the last one)

The only workaround that works is to lower the refresh rate to 30hz at the display driver, but I cant work like that

Please help and advice

Get a better quality HDMI 2.0a/b cable.

Oh, and make sure you are using the HDMI port that provides support for 4K@60Hz. It may not be HDMI1 (some other folks have run into this).

I will give it a try,

Meanwhile its connected to a 1080P Samsung and no problems

Is there a _BN in the graphics driver name. Example: 15.65.4.4944_BN. This was a problem for a long time when these NUC's were new.

Yes, there is. For the BN NUCs, do not use versions of the Intel HD Graphics Driver package that do not have the "_BN" in the file name.
