Verified the M.2 slot is enabled in BIOS Setup:
- Press the F2 key during boot to enter BIOS Setup.
- Select Advanced > Devices > PCI.
M2 shows in PCI not in Boot devices
How do I get the 512 GB device to boot?
Using Intel SSDPEKKW512GB
Can see drive in BIOS, PCI but not in Boot
Can use another tool and see that the drive is bootable.

Hello, dkrohn. I will be more than glad to assist you.
I would like to know which Operating System you installed on the SSD? In addition, which is the format of the drive?
Additionally, have you tried using a different M.2 SSD?

Hello, dkrohn. Thank you very much for your response.
I would like to share with you that I have run some tests at our labs with the same NUC model and BIOS and, I was able to boot from an M.2 drive.
I am afraid that the unit you have is defective. I have sent you a private message to discuss some warranty information. Please double check your inbox.

Dennis Krohn: I just wanted to check if you received the private message that we sent you and if you need further assistance on this matter?
Any questions, please let me know.
