hi all, the fan noise from the 7i7DNHE is very loud compared to my old 5i5RYK.
In Bios there is an option called "fanless" to disable the fan completely. Is it safe to use this setting or will this damage the CPU?

The Fanless setting is for use when the NUC7i# DNB board is used in a properly designed fanless chassis. In these chassis, a metal mass and heatsinks are available to dissipate heat. In the standard chassis, however, the system solely relies on the blower to cool the system. Bottom line, do not use the Fanless setting with the standard chassis. Doing so could damage all sorts of components.
