NUC7i7DNK / BLKNUCi7DNK2E Boot problem (No HDMI output)

TL;DR: Any advise on how to proceed with a NUC not displaying any output?

Longer:

Received a NUC7i7DNK / BLKNUCi7DNK2E that appears faulty. No screen detects any output from the NUC.

  • Two different monitors tested
  • Two different HDMI cables tested
  • Both HDMI connectors tested

Never seen the Intel NUC boot logo, i.e. screen output is none for all testing.

Memory is Corsair Vengeance CMSX16GX4M2A2400C16 (2x8).

SSD is Samsung NVMe SSD 960 EVO.

  • Power LED is ON (solid color) -- that I have seen during testing with SSD in.
  • Power LED is OFF - that is what I see currently (no SSD in).
  • System has been tested with both memory sticks, and with only one memory stick, either one of them, no effect.
  • System has been tested with two different Intel NUC power supply bricks, no effect.
  • Occasionally the fans have spun up to max.

Memory issue, resolved; System booting with HMA451S6AFR8N-TF HYNIX RAM SO-DIMM DDR4 4GB / PC2133 from the list of Intel certified memories.

Talked to Intel Support on the phone.

  • After removing yellow security jumper, the NUC power light is now blinking 3 times, indicating RAM problem.

Intel Support will investigate further and update me.

Memory issue, resolved; System booting with HMA451S6AFR8N-TF HYNIX RAM SO-DIMM DDR4 4GB / PC2133 from the list of Intel certified memories.
