Hi all,
I just set up my new NUC and after updating the bios and installing W10 I have noticed that the disk LED stays on (orange) all the time. I have poked around the bios power options and have found the option to turn it off or change the color but it is set to HDD Activity and is on all the time. I can see the SSD light blink from the M.2 chip when W10 boots so I can tell when the NUC’s activity light should also be blinking. Is this a bios issue?

Thanks for the help!
ps: what is equally frustrating is with the HDD LED setting to ‘off’, the light turns on when the NUC is powered down. WTF?!

I was able to turn off the HDD activity LED by setting the brightness to zero.
