NUC8i5BEH - USB Type-Cポートを使用するとPCH温度が上昇

NUC8i5BEHのUSB Type-CポートにUSBハブ経由でキーボードやマウスなどのUSB機器を接続すると、アイドル時のPCH温度が39℃から46℃に上昇します(HWiNFOで計測)。

CPU使用率とCPU温度に変化はありません。

アイドル時のPCH温度が高くなることでファンの回転速度も上昇しやすくなって騒音が大きくなります。

時間が経過してもPCH温度が低下することはありませんが、USBハブからUSB機器を外すと元の温度まで低下します。

他の4つのUSB Type-AポートにUSB機器を直接接続したり、USBハブ経由で接続した場合はPCH温度の上昇はありません。

このようなPCH温度の上昇は正常な動作ですか？

I would not consider such a rise abnormal. It's undesirable but not abnormal. The PCH is going to be busier because it is supporting the streams for the USB-C and Thunderbolt chips while this is an active connection. All this said, you can go into BIOS Setup (Visual BIOS) and increase the temperature thresholds slightly to avoid the fan running faster and/or avoid the fan being on when it could be off.
