I have had my NUC for a few months. I have my operating system on a M.2 drive.
Everything was good until I noticed an icon that told be new bios was available (0078) and I was suggested to install the update. I let it install the new bios automatically, but after it rebooted I was greeted with a BSOD that said "Inaccessible boot device". And I tried to reboot few times and the same thing.
After this I tried repair bios option but it did not seem to do anything. And somewhere along the way I got this situation where after a boot I only get the NUC logo and three options F2, F7 and F10 on the right corner. But my keyboard does not let me to select any of them. Ctrl-Alt-Delete works, but brings me to that same screen.
Before I found this forum I have tried a number of things and I have gotten to the point where I have reinstalled fresh windows copy.
I can somehow bypass this problem by holding the power button till it goes orange and release. Then I can choose F10 and select the "Boot manager". This way it does boot to Windows.
I feel that there is some confusion about the boot device or something?

Try reinstalling 0078 using the recovery method.
