NUC8i5BEH dont support NVME SSD drive at full speed PCIex4

My brand new NUC8i5BEH dont work properly with NVME SSD drive . Max speed is only 1500 MB/s but it should be 3000 MB/s . Under BIOS I see that M.2 NVME drive use PCIex2 not PCIex4  so speed is twice as small. I has another NUC 8 gen and they works properly.

Update bios to latest BE0085. Try another older BIOS 71 or 75 with no result. Use restore BIOS by Security Jumper , F7 install and  by  DOS flash. Try another NVME drive and this same low speed ( So it is a BIOS issue ?

Please clarify - did you check the SSD which works in NUC8i5BEH with only two PCIe lines in other NUC the same SSD works with four lines? If the answer is yes, your NUC8i5BEH has failure and should be replaced.  If in other NUC, this SSD work also with two lines only, the SSD is either not an NVMe SSD (i.e counterfeit) or it has failure and should be replaced.

Half year ago I  buy a few NUC 8  Gen computers with i5 , i7   CPU and all works correctly with this same model of NVME SSD drive (up to 3000 MB/s).  They have  older version BIOS version (71 or  77).

Latest version of the BIOS (85) I install only on the new NUC .  Must upgrade (from 77 ) due to max speed fan . Now fan is silent but drive is not so fast (
