So, to get the sound through the Usb-c/DisplayPort I need to plug and unplug something in the minijack. On first initialization I have no sound working.
BIOS is on it's last version.
Sound is working through the minijack.

Hi @SDaro1 ,
- Download Intel System Support Utility (SSU). Run SSU System Scan. The txt file with saved scan results, please attach to your post.
- Did you try to run Windows troubleshooting?
- Is the device with speaker connected to Usb-c/DisplayPort set as default sound output device?

Hi @SDaro1 ,
The Linux is not verified by Intel for NUC8i5BEK. However I read user report that they successfully installed Ubuntu 18.10 on NUC8i5BEK (you running the 18.04 version). So, try to upgrade your O.S. https://nucblog.net/2018/11/coffee-lake-i5-nuc-review-nuc8i5bek-nuc8i5beh/3/
