I have a NUC8i7BEH that doesn’t do anything when the power button is pressed. The green light on the motherboard is on and the power supply does work (19volts out) but no light on the button and nothing happens when I press it. I’ve tried it also after removing ram and hard drive and same result. I also do not hear the fan turn on. Thanks

You may need to do a CMOS Clear/Reset. The best way to do this is to open the chassis and unplug the CR2032 battery cable for 14 minutes.

Hi,
Thanks for responding! I tried that and now I hear a loud buzzing when I connect power cable. I'm guessing its the fan.

If the BIOS is set to automatically power on when power is restored, then yes, this is likely the fan (though I hope it isn't really loud). Are you getting any display from the BIOS on the monitor?

The buzzing does not sound normal (i.e. not the normal fan sound). No nothing comes up on the screen. I tried both the HDMI and thunderbolt port (I usually use thunderbolt) and neither displayed any video. I tried my other NUC and it works ok.

I just submitted a warranty claim to Intel customer support since it is still under warranty.
