Hi,
Just wanted to share and see if anyone else is experiencing this issue after updating to the latest 0064 Bios update. After performing the update, the LED lights (power, all 3 status, and skull) no longer comes on. Checked the bios settings for the LED lights and made sure everything was enabled - no lights. Tried enabling software control using the LED manager and still nothing works!
Does anyone know what caused this issue? I'm assuming its the bios update because before that all the lights worked fine.

My understanding is that there is the possibility of the LED programming being lost if the BIOS happens to contain updated firmware for the NUC's Embedded Controller. In this case, going into BIOS Setup (Visual BIOS) and making a change to the LED configuration (even a temporary one) will result in the programming being re-established.
Alternatively, if you are configuring the LED operation using the Intel LED Manager, simply starting the Intel LED Manager and reloading your saved configuration will result in the programming being re-established.
Hope this helps,

Exactly the same problem after updating to Bios 064, no LED’s working. Had to update via F7 as got error message when trying to update using Express Bio re unable to locate installation file.
Have tried all the following unsuccessfully:-
F4 BIOS recovery
Downgraded Bios to v063 (Pressing the Power Button did cause the Skull/Eyes to light up momentarily, but never again)
Temporarily changed settings in Bios
Tried turning off Software Control and using Bios to set control LED’s
Clearing CMOS with jumper
Nothing has resolved it

Same problem here:
Now the LED lights are completely gone (no power, no status & no skull lights). I then
According to the "Intel Driver & Support Assistant" the system ist up to date. And so is MS Windows 10 (20H2).
Well my issue has gone from bad to worse.
Thought I’d try some other Bios settings this morning.
Saved and restarted “no bootable device”error. Went back in the Bios and sure enough no drives listed. Powered off, removed CMOS battery for a while. Reconnected, tried to restart and nothing. Just get a momentary white flash of the two LED’s next to the power button. Won’t power up at all! Tried a 2nd PSU I’ve got just in case.
Maybe in my case the LED issue was just a symptom of a greater issue, however it’s a strange coincidence
Just opened a new Support Case
