Windows 10 18362.267 1903
Bluetooth drivers version 21.10.1.1
Whenever I try to pair a Bluetooth audio device (speaker, true wireless headphones), I only get the low-quality "headset" connection working. High quality stereo functionality is not working at all.
In device manager, I see a driver error for Microsoft Bluetooth A2DP source device in Audio controllers section.
The message is:
Windows cannot verify the digital signature of the drivers required for this device. It is possible that a recent hardware or software change installed a damaged file or signature that is incorrect, or that it is malware from an unknown source. (Code 52)
I tried reinstalling BT drivers, reconnecting BT audio devices, but nothing works. I always get this particular error.
BTW, the audio devices work 100% fine on onther non-NUC Windows 10 devices.

NLapl1, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.
Did you install all the Windows* updates?
Was it working fine before?
Did you make any recent hadrware/software changes?
Do you have the option to test the Intel® NUC Kit NUC8i7HVK with different Bluetooth devices? This is just to rule out a possible compatibility problem with the components that you are currently using.
Based on the driver error that you saw in "Device Manager" about Microsoft Bluetooth A2DP source device and error code 52, what we can try in order to try to fix this problem will be a clean installation of the Intel® Bluetooth and Wireless drivers:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005756/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking.html
Please install the Intel® Wireless driver version 21.10.1:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28955/Intel-Wireless-Technology-Based-Driver-for-Intel-NUC?product=126143
And install the Intel® Bluetooth driver version 21.10.1:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28956/Intel-Wireless-Bluetooth-Driver-for-Windows-10-64-bit-for-Intel-NUC?product=126143
Also, try a BIOS update to the latest version 0058:

I tried uninstalling Bluetooth & WiFi drivers and reinstall the latest releases. I tried updating the BIOS to the latest. I applied all Windows Updates.
I still get the same error for the A2DP device in device manager.

Hi, sorry for the late answer. I tried many possible solutions.
But I just found out about this:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/4518538/bluetooth-speakers-do-not-work-after-update-4505903-is-installed
An update causes the exact problem I'm epxeriencing. The proposed solution to run
sfc /scannow
in an administrator shell fixed my problem.
