Hello sonicsky,

I am sorry to know about the situation with the NUC. In this case, if you want, I can try to investigate further on this issue. However, I cant promise anything since the China support team already checked the issue.

Or, you can open a new thread and use this one as a reference once you have the NUC from the maintenance man and the issue continues.

Please let me know how you would like to proceed or if you would like to close this thread.

Best regards,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I am sorry to know that you are having issues with your Intel® NUC Kit NUC8i7HVK.

In order to better assist you, please provide the following:

1. Have you seen this issue with a different monitor?

hi Deivid A:

1. Have you seen this issue with a different monitor?

--- i have test in different monitor, it's the same effect.

2. Did you have issues with Windows 10?

--- from now on, I install the Windows 10, it's the same effect

3. Are you performing a clean installation of Windows 11 or is it an upgrade?

-- the usb boot clean installation, use the same partition table, but format evey partition first

4. Have you tried with a different SSD?

--- no. I have no chance to try

I guess maybe the reasion is to upgrade new firmware version 0067 (the stable version it's 0059)

Sad is my nuc can't boot the logo now, once upon it upgrade to 0067, it couldn't boot the  opencore usb,

the usb efi partition is recognize the opencore boot item,  and select it, it's no use and return again.

So i boot to the windows, use bcdedit to deleted the invoid opencore item, reboot again and go into the visual bios,

F9 recory the default boot cfg, F10 save exit and it's broken,  can't boot the intel nuc logo, the power menu can't go in again.

At last, i try to recovey the bios from usb, take out the jump cover and boot the hn0067.bio, it's failed, so i decide to issue a rma.

Everything become worse it's I upgrade the 0067 firmware, and there is no legacy boot either  no entry to reset the uefi nvram

Thx and Br

Hello sonicsky,

I am sorry to know that the issue got worse after the BIOS update. Before I continue, I would like to confirm the following:

1. Did you receive the replacement unit? If so, did you experience the same issue?

2. Did you replace the unit with us (Intel) or with the place of purchase?

在英特尔® NUC 迷你电脑上安装非英特尔® 签名固件后出现的问题 (intel.cn)

why intel to check the firmware and uefi stable and display abnormal, to check the log and upward feedback problem to improve the quality。

Hello sonicsky,

I am sorry to know what happened. Before we continue further, I would like to confirm if you still have the defective unit. This is because based on your response, looks like you were not able to replace the unit.

Also, bear in mind that based on your location the terms and conditions for replacements, refunds, and fulfilments may be different since some countries might need specific permissions to complete the process.

hi deivid A:

I have to buy the bios bin from  https://vinafix.com/threads/intel-nuc8i7hvb-nuc8i7hvk.38221/

let the  maintenance man using the programmer tool to flash the bios bin, if it's ok, i willl told you the boot result, and share the nomail bios bin.

After I upgrade the bios to 0067, I have try to downgrade the bios to 0059 version, but failed. I think the ME corrupted or version is mismatch, the If i restore the bios's default configuration, It could not boot.

I just want to save my NUC
